RB: Julian Ryerson - After keeping Kylian Mbappe at bay in the semifinals, Ryerson will hope to make a similar impact in his battle against Vinícius Jr. The hard-working Norwegian will have his task cut out against one of Real Madrid's biggest difference makers.

CB: Mats Hummels - Hummels has been one of the top performers in the Champions League this season. The CL is the only trophy the 35 year old has not won in his club career. And he will be determined to cap off his incredible campaign by leading Borussia Dortmund to the title on Saturday.

CB: Nico Schlotterbeck - Partnering Hummels in defence will be Schlotterbeck, who has been consistency personified in recent months. His performances saw him earn a recall to the Germany squad for the Euros, and he will hope to shine on the big Champions League stage on Saturday.

LB: Ian Maatsen - Maatsen has enjoyed an excellent loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, and will hope to put his Euro 2024 disappointment aside on Saturday. He could be a trump card in the BVB attack down the left flank.

DM: Emre Can - It will be interesting to see which version of Can shows up at Wembley. But the BVB captain's performance could well make or break his team's hopes of lifting the Champions League crown.

CM: Marcel Sabitzer - Borussia Dortmund certainly wouldn't have made it this far in the Champions League without Sabitzer's performances. The Austrian will start in the number eight role on Saturday, and will hope to play a decisive role on both ends of the pitch.
