Borussia Dortmund will hope for the return of Jadon Sancho, who missed Saturday's trip to Gladbach due to illness. The Englishman came up clutch by scoring a decisive goal in the second leg against PSV Eindhoven in the round of 16, and will be key to BVB's hopes against Atletico Madrid as well.

Karim Adeyemi's disappointing showing at the weekend could prompt Edin Terzic to bring Donyell Malen back into the starting XI. The Dutch forward was in excellent form before his injury, and could pose a threat to the Atletico defence with his directness.

Niclas Füllkrug could return to the starting XI on Tuesday following Sebastien Haller's injury. The Germany international hasn't scored since mid-February, and the second leg against Atletico Madrid would be the perfect time to break that drought.

Another option could be for Terzic to play one of Malen and Youssoufa Moukoko up front to give the team a more fluid structure against an Atletico Madrid back three that does lack pace.
