With Borussia Dortmund set to have to do without two of their wide players in the coming weeks, the squad will face it's first real stress test in terms of player depth. In the advent of Dortmund's result against Celtic in the Champions League, both Karim Adeyemi and Julien Duranville are set to be on the sidelines for a few weeks.

In Adeyemi's case, the German attacker tore a muscle fiber when attempting to win an aerial duel in the second half of the game. Duranville, on his end, suffered a tendon injury. Both injuries are set to keep the players out until November.

With Dortmund now forced to adapt to this new hurdle, the question then remains, how will they handle this adversity? The answers to this question are varied and could lead head coach Nuri Şahin to have to experiment both in terms of personnel as well as formations to make up for this setback.
