Juventus are accelerating their efforts to sign Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund, and are reportedly readying an initial bid of 35 million euros plus bonuses.

Borussia Dortmund are facing the prospect of losing Karim Adeyemi this summer. The forward is seemingly interested in a move to Juventus, and his agent has been in talks with the Italian giants in recent weeks.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are ready to bid 35 million euros plus around ten million euros in performance related add-ons (five million euros in easily attainable add-ons, and the rest more difficult) for Adeyemi.

Borussia Dortmund's asking price for Karim Adeyemi is 50 million euros

Borussia Dortmund have stated on a number of occasions that they have no interest in selling the 22 year old this summer. And only a high transfer fee could force them into a rethink. A transfer fee in the region of 50 million euros has been mentioned as the possible asking price.

Adeyemi is coming off a rather disappointing second season with Borussia Dortmund, and managed just five goals and two assists in 34 appearances in all competitions. But interest in the pacy forward remains high, with Juventus and Chelsea both keen on his signature.

Juventus are seemingly leading the queue, with manager Thiago Motta thought to be a big fan of Adeyemi. According to Fabrizio Romano, Adeyemi is keen on a move to the Italian Serie A.

The potential sale of Karim Adeyemi would almost certainly force Borussia Dortmund back into the transfer market, as they would need a replacement. In addition to Adeyemi, Donyell Malen could also leave the Black and Yellows this summer. But it remains to be seen if any clubs currently have concrete interest in his signature.
