It will be Marcel Sabitzer vs Donyell Malen as Austria go up against the Netherlands in the crunch final matchday of the Euro 2024 group stage.
Group D will take centre stage at Euro 2024 on Tuesday evening as the Netherlands and Austria lock horns in what promises to be a pulsating contest. The Olympiastadion in Berlin will play host to the action as the Marcel Sabitzer-led Austria look to make it back-to-back wins and secure their place in the round of 16. The Netherlands also have a number of talented players in their ranks, and this game has all the ingredients to be a classic.
Things are tightly poised in Group D, with the Netherlands, France and Austria battling it out to qualify for the round of 16. Ronald Koeman’s side are currently top, having scored more goals than second placed France (also on four points). Austria are a point behind in third place, and will hope to build on their impressive matchday two win over Poland.
A draw on Tuesday should be enough to send both sides through to the knockout stage. But both Austria and the Netherlands will be determined to come out on top and keep momentum on side ahead of the round of 16.
