GK: Gregor Kobel - The Swiss shot-stopper will be crucial to Borussia Dortmund's hopes against PSG, both with his saves and in possession.

RB: Julian Ryerson - Hailed as a pit bull by Edin Terzic before the game, Ryerson will likely slot in at right-back on Wednesday. PSG have a number of dangerous wide players in their squad, and the Norwegian international will have to be at his best defensively.

CB: Mats Hummels - Borussia Dortmund will hope for the return of Hummels, who has been in inspired form this season. The veteran centre-back rolled back the years to deliver a world-class performance against Bayern Munich last month, and will hope to lead the defence in a similar manner against PSG.

CB: Nico Schlotterbeck - Another player who will be determined to shine on the biggest stage is Schlotterbeck, as he will be eager to stake a claim for a spot in the Germany squad for this summer's European Championship. Keeping Kylian Mbappe at bay would certainly help his cause.

LB: Ian Maatsen - The Dutch left-back has been dealing with muscular problems, but there is confidence that he will be able to recover in time to play from the start on Wednesday. He is set to go up against former BVB winger Ousmane Dembele, who was PSG's difference maker in the quarterfinals.
