Forwards: Marco Reus, Karim Adeyemi, Niclas Füllkrug
With Gio Reyna dealing with an illness and Sébastien Haller sidelined due to a knee injury, Borussia Dortmund are unlikely to make big changes to their front three against Stuttgart.
Jamie Byone-Gittens may be afforded a breather after starting three games on the trot, with Karim Adeyemi an option to replace him. The Germany international will hope to build on his goal against AC Milan with a strong performance against Stuttgart.
Edin Terzic gave Youssoufa Moukoko a chance in the starting XI in the second round of the DFB-Pokal against Hoffenheim. However, he has hardly been used since and it remains to be seen if that will change on Wednesday.
Niclas Füllkrug could be due for a rest after being tasked with the job of leading the fluctuating BVB attack in recent weeks.
