Borussia Dortmund will look to return to fourth place in the Bundesliga standings as they take on Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday evening.

Just days after experiencing the incredible high of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, Borussia Dortmund will return to Bundesliga action against Eintracht Frankfurt. The Eagles have found their form in recent weeks, and will no doubt offer a formidable challenge to Edin Terzic's side.

Borussia Dortmund will be without influential midfield Marcel Sabitzer on Sunday, following his red card against Werder Bremen last weekend. Also sidelined is Julian Ryerson, and Jadon Sancho is a doubt as he is dealing with a muscle issue. Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their Bundesliga clash against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

Gregor Kobel will start in goal for Borussia Dortmund, aiming to build on his strong performance in goal against PSV Eindhoven. The Swiss shot-stopper could be in for another busy evening against Omar Marmoush and co.

It will be interesting to see who gets the nod to start at right-back. Niklas Süle could be the favourite to play in the role, with Nico Schlotterbeck available again to start at centre-back after missing the PSV game through suspension. Mats Hummels will look to start at centre-back again following his impressive performance against PSV. Ian Maatsen will start at left-back.

Emre Can could slot into his prefered defensive midfield role, and Salih Özcan could partner him in the middle of the park. Felix Nmecha is also an option, but it remains to be seen if he is ready to play from the start after spending so long on the sidelines due to injury.

Julian Brandt will likely keep his place in attacking midfield, although Marco Reus has certainly shown in recent appearances that he deserves more minutes on the pitch. The former club captain could also potentially replace Jadon Sancho, who was forced to come off against PSV due to a muscle issue. Karim Adeyemi and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens are the other options available to Terzic.

Donyell Malen and Niclas Füllkrug will complete the Borussia Dortmund attack, with the latter looking to end his goalscoring draught.

Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Kobel - Süle, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Maatsen - Özcan, Can, Brandt - Reus, Malen, Füllkrug
