Borussia Dortmund kick off their 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening. Led by former player Nuri Sahin, the Black and Yellows will set their sights on an improved campaign than after finishing fifth and struggling for consistency last season. The fans will be hoping the tide can change with the new coach.

After making several big name signings, BVB are expected to not only adjust their line-up but also their style of play. The reactive approach under Edin Terzic which disappointed several fans is expected to change. Sahin is seen as a more possession-oriented coach who wants his side to dictate play. Here we take a look at what the starting line up could look like on Saturday against Eintracht Frankfurt.

GK: Gregor Kobel - The Swiss keeper, who is in line to become his national team’s number one, is expected to keep his place in the BVB starting XI. Kobel has been putting on consistent performances over the last few years and will look to continue that form this season. The club has done well in managing to keep his services for at least another year.
