2. 2022-23 Coal and Steel Kit
Blackout kits are always amazing to look at and Borussia Dortmund's Coal and Steel kits looked fantastic last season. Dortmund wore them once on February 19, 2023 in a 4-1 win over Hertha Berlin at the Signal Iduna Park.
The Coal and Steel jersey celebrates the city's history of coal mining and steel milling. Both industry might be gone but BVB ensured that it will never be forgotten with a special edition kit last season.
The entire jersey has a unique coal pattern and the flock are silver-colored to represent steel. It was very similar to the 2019 blackout kit and the demand for that was one of the reasons why Dortmund and Puma decided to release another one this season.
