Report: Borussia Dortmund among clubs interested in signing Arsenal youngster Amario Cozier-Duberry
Highly rated Arsenal winger Amario Cozier-Duberry is said to be attracting the interest of a number of clubs in Europe, including Borussia Dortmund.
Amario Cozier-Duberry is enjoying an impressive season with Arsenal at youth level, and is regarded as one of the most talented young players in their academy. According to the Evening Standard, the 18 year old's current contract with the Gunners will expire at the end of the current season. And clubs from all over Europe are already said to be keeping tabs on him.
In addition to Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Newcastle United and Anderlecht are also said to be showing interest in signing Cozier-Duberry. Arsenal are keen to extend his contract, but no agreement has been reached as of yet. The England U-19s international has received rave reviews for his performances at the youth level so far, and has also earned comparisons to Arsenal first-team star Bukayo Saka.
It currently remains to be seen how serious Borussia Dortmund's interest is in signing Cozier-Duberry. Although the Black and Yellows have always had a keen eye for signing talented young players and giving them playing time at the highest level.
Borussia Dortmund currently have a number of highly rated attacking players in their first-team squad, including Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Youssoufa Moukoko, Julien Duranville, Gio Reyna, and Karim Adeyemi.
Amario Cozier-Duberry has scored seven goals and assisted a further two in 13 appearances across all competitions so far this season. He has yet to make his first-team debut for Arsenal, but has trained regularly with Mikel Arteta's side in recent months.
