Sebastian Kehl and Edin Terzic were both full of praise of Jadon Sancho after the on-loan forward finally ended his goal drought against Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Jadon Sancho issued a timely reminder of his quality on Saturday evening as he scored what proved to be the winning goal for Borussia Dortmund against Werder Bremen. The Englishman picked up the ball on the edge of the box, before gliding his way past a Werder Bremen defender and then finding the bottom corner.

The goal will certainly come as a huge relief for Sancho, as it was his first since last May. And Sebastian Kehl and Edin Terzic both hailed the 23 year old after the game.

The Borussia Dortmund sporting director said that Sancho's goal was a well-deserved reward for his hard work. "Jadon Sancho certainly earned that. That move showed what a great footballer he is. You can see that he works hard and wants to help the team. The goal will give him a boost. He's not yet at 100 percent. He didn't play for a long time. Jadon was eager to play for us from day one. We will need him in the coming weeks."

Edin Terzic said, "Jadon shoots before anyone else sees it. He's not a player that has a really hard shot or a very precise shot, but he gets his shots away very quickly. We were working in training all week on him getting into situations where he can gain confidence. It showed what he is capable of, and hopefully he can continue like this."

Jadon Sancho has now scored one goal and assisted another since joining Borussia Dortmund on loan from Manchester United in January. He will hope to keep his run of form going in the coming weeks, and help the Black and Yellows secure their place in next season's UEFA Champions League.
