Ten U-21 Borussia Dortmund players looking to break through at the club

Julian Hettwer (20) is the main man with the second team. The player has 6 goals and 8 assists over the course of this season. Having arrived for 500k in the summer, Hettwer’s end product and off the ball movement have been exemplary. Only Ole Pohlmann, who is two years older than Hettwer can match these tallies and only Rodney Elongo-Yombo has as many goals.  With Freiburg’s second team almost certainly facing relegation, Dortmund's will be the only one playing at the national level. Hettwer is a key player for them and at just 20 years old it is likely that top flight clubs will be very interested in his services if he doesn’t get integrated into the first team next year.
