Tom Rothe

Much like his fellow academy graduate Youssoufa Moukoko, Tom Rothe arrived as a teenager (16). He made his debut shortly thereafter. Rothe is not necessarily evidence of elite talent development but rather elite youth scouting.

Rothe is often overlooked on top u20 player lists given he is a regular starter in the senior game. He is often compared to younger players yet to play a senior minute who can show a wide range of skills at a lower tactical, technical and physical level where their strengths can hide their weaknesses. Rothe has mostly dominated the second tier barring some inconsistencies. The 19 year old left back is an elite creator and should be given significant minutes next season.
