Julien Duranville, currently 17, is a case of a tennage player (16, at the time of his transfer) transferring for a fee beyond academy compensation. Duranville is one for the future despite his pace and flashy dribbling already being a joy to watch.

Having suffered several muscle injuries, Duranville is clearly not ready to be a full time senior professional as many expected this season following his 28 minute appearance against Mainz at the end of last season. Duranville will likely still come good and has a lot of time to develop. Duranville was recently granted minutes in Dortmund's loss to Hoffenheim but the player will require patience as he reintigrates into senior football as even if he looks immediately elite, inconsistencies should be expected from such a young attacker.
