Paris Brunner (18) spent time with Rot-Weiss Essen and later VFL Bochum’s academy. Brunner is a local player from the community who joined Dortmund’s academy prior to 16, which means that the club have had a significant hand in developing him. His professional contract is currently being discussed and should be signed in the coming months despite a disagreement over wages with the u17 World Cup and u17 Euros winner. We can likely expect a debut shortly after his contract is signed and sealed.
