This summer marks 11 years since Borussia Dortmund reached the summit of European football, when they faced Bayern Munich in the Champions League final. A decade on, no further reminders are necessary about the outcome of that game, but by the standards of that team, it is a stark contrast to the withering lows that the Black and Yellows find themselves in 2024.

In the middle of yet another international break, the pressure is still on Edin Terzic as he looks to save his skin as BVB head coach. Goodwill was afforded to him after the disappointing hinrunde.
