The need for a new winger

Borussia Dortmund will also look to keep an eye on the winger position this summer. With Jadon Sancho's future uncertain, and Donyell Malen potentially leaving in the summer, it opens the gap for at least one more winger to reinforce the squad rotation.

If everything goes according to plan, Jadon Sancho and Karim Adeyemi will be the starters next season, with Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Julien Duranville the back-ups. Despite that, the arrival of one more winger would add some much-needed depth to the BVB bench.

Brajan Gruda of Mainz 05 is one player Borussia Dortmund should consider this summer. His versatility and goal-contributing actions for a struggling Mainz side qualify him as a feasible transfer target on the back of his breakthrough campaign.

Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United could also be an option, especially if they fail to clinch promotion to the Premier League. Chris Führich is another name who has been linked with BVB.
