Next up for Dortmund is an away visit for the Bundesliga matchup Wolfsburg vs Dortmund. However, the question on everybody's mind at the moment is will Sebastien Haller play?

The Dortmund striker scored a late winner for his country Ivory Coast, as they completed a great comeback after going behind in the Africa Cup of Nations final against favourites Nigeria. Haller scored in the 81st minute and became a hero for his country as they lifted the trophy.

Wolfsburg vs Dortmund: Will Sebastien Haller play?

There is less than a week between the Africa Cup of Nations final and Dortmund's next Bundesliga match. Therefore, when factoring the inevitable (and deserved) celebrations with his family and nation, it begs the question whether Dortmund fans will welcome back their Ivorian hero this weekend, or whether his return will be postponed.

In truth, it is a race against time so it's difficult to provide a definitive answer. However, some sources remain optimistic, as an article published by GGFN claims that Haller could return in time, since he is due to arrive back in Germany late this week.

Even if Haller returns to Dortmund as a substitute for this match, it would be great to see him receive an ovation from the fanbase for his efforts and achievements on international duty. After all, he showed his commitment to the BVB wall in the January transfer window as he turned down a big opportunity to return to London.

In truth, it is far more likely to assume that Haller will be on the bench at best in this game, assuming he is available for selection. After all, Nicolas Füllkrug is the man of the moment, scoring five goals in his last five Bundesliga matches.

Dortmund are in hot-form right now as heading into this match, they haven't lost any of their last five Bundesliga matches. Conversely, they face a team in Wolfsburg who haven't won a single of their last five Bundesliga matches. Therefore, Dortmund should be favourites heading into this one, but as always, it's difficult to tell at the Volkswagen Arena.
