The agent of Youssoufa Moukoko has made it clear that the striker is keen to leave Borussia Dortmund after being left frustrated with his lack of playing time at the club.

Youssoufa Moukoko's future is increasingly likely to lie away from Borussia Dortmund after his agent revealed the striker's plans to leave the club this summer. The 19 year old's agent has stated that the promises made by the BVB bosses when he signed his contract extension last year have not been kept. He is now sounding out interest from clubs in England, Spain and France.

"Youssoufa has a huge potential, which unfortunately he couldn‘t show last season," Moukoko's agent Patrick Williams told Fabrizio Romano. "He was promised a lot before he signed, but it wasn't realized. He was always only interested in playing and in his development - not in anything else just like the media reports always claimed."

Patrick Williams: Borussia Dortmund making a mistake by allowing Youssoufa Moukoko to leave

"I say BVB is making a mistake in giving Youssoufa away," Williams added. "With so little playing time, everyone will know that Youssoufa's market value will be low and Dortmund can't expect much."

"We wanted it to be different, but that's the football business. Youssoufa is totally clear in his mind, extremely focused and knows what he wants to drive his career forward."

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly willing to sell Moukoko this summer, having already bolstered their attack with the signing of Serhou Guirassy from VfB Stuttgart. The Black and Yellows have four strikers in their ranks, and both Moukoko and Sebastien Haller are free to leave the club.

Moukoko still has two years left on his Borussia Dortmund contract, and it remains to be seen which clubs might hold an interest in signing the highly rated striker. But it is unlikely that his agent's comments will go down too well with those in charge at BVB.
