Players to Watch

Maxi Beier & Niklas Süle – Maxi is Borussia Dortmund’s in-form striker. He scored twice against Mainz, recorded two assists against Freiburg, scored BVB’s opening goal on the weekend, and his substitute appearance against Barcelona last week saw him find the net, though it was ruled out for offsides. If Kovač plays a front-two, expect Beier to be hungry for a goal involvement. Niklas Süle has struggled with both form and fitness this campaign, but he seems ready to work for BVB, and early indications suggest Kovač will start the German International.

Robert Lewendowski & Raphinha – Do I have to even write why Lewendowski is a player to watch? We’re his favorite club to score against, and I expect tomorrow he’ll be trying to add to his tally. Raphinha ran circles around our midfield and defense lest week, so I’m expecting Kovač to direct his players to press the Brazilian. We’ll see how it plays out.
