Borussia Dortmund will be hoping for the return of Julian Brandt to the matchday squad, whiile Gio Reyna will have his sights set on another chance to play from the start after playing against Barcelona on Wednesday. But Nuri Sahin could also opt to bring Pascal Groß back into the starting XI.
The veteran midfielder began his professional career at Hoffenheim, and will hope to deliver a strong performance against them on Sunday.
Felix Nmecha has established himself one of the first names on the Borussia Dortmund team-sheet with his performances this season. The former Manchester City youth academy prospect will hope to dominate proceedings from his defensive midfield role.
Marcel Sabitzer could be a potential candidate for some rest. But it remains to be seen if that will happen against Hoffenheim. The Austria international is expected to keep his spot in the starting XI.
