Adeyemi & Beier worked CRAZY good together

With Serhou Guirassy's absence, Niko Kovač opted to play with a back-three, transitioning Adeyemi to more central areas while Yan Couto occupied that right flank. That duo worked wonders for Borussia Dortmund, with Beier using his moves to create spaces for Adeyemi to explore.

Adeyemi is particularly impressive in those pocketed spaces in the half spaces, dragging one or two defenders and opening up lanes for the others. From a different perspective, Beier's strength comes from his link-up play and footballing IQ, providing him with a clear visualization of the pitch and making the lanes more explicit for him to attack. Though there was a little bit of luck from the first goal, I believe that the opening goal said everything about these two working together.
