Squad Reinforcements are Needed
As the game went on, Niko Kovac had to make changes in the second half but his subsitutions were met with huge disappointment from the fans. His triple change of Salih Özcan, Emre Can, and Julian Brandt added nothing in terms of attacking improvement. They were fresh legs, but none of these players have shown this season that they can be a game-changer.
To make matters worse, it seems fans are getting tired as very few people in the stadium chanted the aforementioned names as they came on because they knew what to expect. The has to lead to a massive overhaul in the summer, and these players simply have not been good enough this season.
