The problem with a front-three is that Dortmund’s squad seemingly lacks the depth to play consistently in this kind of system. However, one player who has gone mostly unnoticed this season could be the next star to fill one of these positions. I’m talking about Julien Duranville.

The eighteen-year-old Belgian was only subbed on for the last 26 minutes, but he made an immediate impact, completing more dribbles than any other player. He dribbled around Barca’s defense like they were amateurs, and he created Guirassy’s third goal, restoring belief in the possibility of winning the tie.

Duranville’s overall performance was also exemplary, winning 5/6 of his ground duels and recording a 100% passing rate. The kid can play, and he seems hungry for minutes. Get ready to see more of Juju!
