BVB finally seems to have more depth

With a torment period of injuries gone for BVB, Dortmund looks finally close to a completed squad and, more importantly, with options for Niko Kovač. The return of Felix Nmecha and the arrival of a seemingly fully fit Carney Chukwuemeka suddenly provide the Croat with interesting possibilities to plan out BVB's midfield, which has been a major problem the whole season.
Not only that, but Kovač's tactical switch that was previously mentioned also amplifies Dortmund's alternatives to change the match. With players possibly taking more than one role in this team, such as the diverse possibilities for the striker duo, it generates a different showcase of tools for Kovač to play around with.
Surely, those players were already there before, apart from injuries, and the BVB administration can only blame themselves for the poor planning throughout the season. However, it is incredible how things change pretty unexpectedly, and subtle tweaks under pressure can be positive for a team that desperately needs a rebuild. Dortmund already has a quality squad, although some improvements are still needed, and it is finally showing.
