The constant change of tactics creates confusion
As much as constant tactical scheme change has become a norm under Nuri Sahin, it is becoming more apparent that the team is struggling to keep up. Changing tactical schemes is not necessarily a bad practice, mainly because each strategy should be adaptable to each opponent.
Despite that, it's become hard to identify a clear tactical pattern with Nuri Sahin. Once he drifted from a back-three scheme used at the beginning of the season, the young manager attempted many different formations, but it's still unclear what his patent as a coach actually is.
After all, creating a style of play goes way beyond claiming to be a possession-based manager. It's also about how you do it and how effective you are.
Even so, there seems to be a lack of conviction in establishing a culture and a system that suits this squad. Every other match is a different formation, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but the same issues persist.
