Former Union Berlin manager Urs Fischer has become a new alternative to Nuri Sahins's successor at Borussia Dortmund. The Swiss coach would be available for a six-month deal and could possibly take on a "savior" role.
Jobless since November 2023, Urs would take this opportunity to rebuild his career in a big club like Borussia Dortmund. On the other hand, the Black-and-Yellows would be interested in a short-term option to "calm things down" while they would have time to prepare a long-term project in the summer.
However, no contacts have been made yet with the Swiss. Another candidate, Niko Kovač, is also still an option as the deal is still on, according to Florian Plettenberg.
