Vinicius Junior has revealed how Real Madrid had faith even at two goals behind that they could come back and defeat Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
Real Madrid once again showcased their resilience and ability to turn games around on Tuesday evening as they came from two goals behind to defeat Borussia Dortmund 5-2. A second-half hat-trick from Vinicius Junior inspired the Spanish giants to victory, and the Ballon d'Or contender spoke about what was said at half-time in their dressing room that spurred them on.

"When we got to the dressing room 2-0 down (at half-time), we were all very quiet," Vinicius told Movistar after the game. "But we listened to the coach and only one thing was said: if we score the first goal, we’re going to come back and win again. The main thing is that we believed in ourselves. This is our house, full of our fans, and in those circumstances, anything can happen."
Tuesday's game mirrored last season's Champions League final between the two sides in many ways. Borussia Dortmund were in control in the first-half in both games. And while they failed to make the most of their chances in the CL final, BVB did manage to take a 2-0 lead into the break on Tuesday.
But Real Madrid showcased their incredible ability to find a way to win on both occasions, with Vinicius Junior proving to be the Borussia Dortmund's tormentor in chief.
Borussia Dortmund will hope to recover quickly from this defeat and finally put an end to their away-day woes when they take on FC Augsburg this weekend. Real Madrid, meanwhile, are set for another big game as they go up against FC Barcelona in the latest edition of El Clásico.
