Borussia Dortmund have reportedly agreed personal terms with Emre Can, but need to sell Paco Alcacer for the transfer to go through before Friday’s deadline.

Borussia Dortmund are looking to bolster their squad with the signing of Emre Can before the transfer window closes. And now it looks like they have taken a step closer to completing the signing of the German international. According to BILD, Michael Zorc has agreed personal terms with the 26 year old.

The report says that Can will sign a four and a half year deal with Der BVB, and will earn an annual wage of 10 million euros. While Dortmund have agreed terms with Can, they have yet to agree to a transfer fee with Juventus, and the two clubs are still in negotiations.

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also interested in signing Can, but the former Liverpool man only wants a move to Borussia Dortmund. He is hopeful that strong performances in the Bundesliga will convince head coach Jogi Löw to select him for Germany’s EURO 2020 squad.

BILD add that in order for Borussia Dortmund to be able to afford the Can transfer, they must sell Paco Alcacer. The Spaniard is being strongly linked with a return to former club Valencia, and has reportedly agreed personal terms with the club.

But Los Ches will only sign him if they can sell Rodrigo Moreno to Barcelona. Barcelona are currently in negotiations with Valencia for the forward.
