Achraf Hakimi (5.5/10)

Much like in the last two games, Hakimi made some strong forward runs, showing great pace and skills. But once again, his final pass was often too sloppy and let him down more often than not. Hakimi’s lack of impact did not hurt Dortmund today, but he needs to offer more, especially in tighter games.

Julian Brandt (8/10)

Brandt put in another excellent shift, and was rewarded with assists for both of Haaland’s goals. The German international played a game high four key passes and also won the majority of his duels. He distributed play well, and created good chances for his teammates. He also made some important interceptions and did his defensive duties well.

Axel Witsel (7.5/10)

Witsel also had an impressive game. He bossed the midfield for the entirety of the game, started attacks, and helped out defensively. The Belgian also made an excellent run before scoring Borussia Dortmund’s fourth goal.

Raphael Guerreiro (7/10)

Guerreiro assisted Sancho’s opening goal and made some dangerous runs from the left flank. He also came close to scoring on a couple of occasions. But more importantly, he was solid defensively and did not stop running all game. He also had the most touches of the ball today (123).
