Team News

Borussia Dortmund suffered a huge blow earlier this week after it was revealed that club captain Marco Reus would be out for at least a month. Erling Haaland is set to come into the side as his replacement, while Roman Bürki and Raphael Guerreiro should also return after missing the mid-week game against Werder Bremen.

Thomas Delaney is back in training, but it remains to be seen if he is fit enough to feature. Gio Reyna will be hoping to come off the bench once again, after netting his first ever senior goal for Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

Bayer Leverkusen will be without the suspended Kerem Demirbay, but January signing Exequiel Palacios could make his first league start. Charles Aránguiz (calf) and Paulinho (international duty) are also out for Peter Bosz’ side.

Predicted Lineups

Bayer Leverkusen: Hradecky – L. Bender, Tah, S. Bender, Sinkgraven – Palacios, Baumgartlinger – Bellarabi, Havertz, Diaby – Volland

Borussia Dortmund: Bürki – Akanji, Hummels, Zagadou – Hakimi, Brandt, Witsel, Guerreiro – Sancho, Haaland, Hazard
