Lukasz Piszczek (7.5/10)

Piszczek replaced Manuel Akanji in the side and struggled a bit early on. But he gave Borussia Dortmund the lead with a brilliantly taken strike from his weaker left foot in the first half. He did not put a foot wrong after that goal, and made sure that Frankfurt weren’t able to breach Borussia Dortmund’s defence.

Mats Hummels (6.5/10)

Hummels looked a bit slow and sloppy early on. But he recovered quickly and put in a solid shift, overall. He also played some excellent forward passes despite, and started the move for the fourth goal.

Dan Axel Zagadou (7.5/10)

Zagadou was at his best tonight, showing great composure and confidence, even in the tightest of situations. The way he got out of high pressure zones with so much ease was a joy to watch. He was always looking to pass the ball forward, and even got a shot on target from long range.
