Goalkeeper: Yann Sommer (Borussia Mönchengladbach)

34 Appearances, 7 Clean Sheets

Yann Sommer is one of the main reasons why Borussia Mönchengladbach will be playing Champions League football next season. The Swiss goalkeeper was in inspired form all season, making a league high 126 saves for his side this campaign.

The 31 year old pulled off some excellent saves for the Foals over the course of the season, including his unbelievable goal-line stop against Bayern Munich in the hinrunde.

He also had a better success rate than any other goalkeeper in the league (75.5%), and his stand-out performances get him the nod over Manuel Neuer and Peter Gulacsi.
