Race for the Europa League

5. Bayer Leverkusen – 60 points, +16 GD
6. Wolfsburg – 49 points, +6 GD
7. Hoffenheim – 49 points, -4 GD

While it remains to be seen which team will finish fifth in the Bundesliga table, Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim have already made sure of their qualification to next season’s UEFA Europa League. But with the sixth placed team qualifying straight to the group stage, and the seventh placed team having to go through three rounds of qualifying, the two teams still have a lot to play for.

Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim are level on points heading into the final day of the season, and both teams face tough assignments on match-day 34. Wolfsburg host champions Bayern Munich, while Hoffenheim travel to Borussia Dortmund.

Oliver Glasner’s side only need to match Hoffenheim’s result on the final day of the season, and it will be interesting to see which team comes out on top.
