Borussia Dortmund have rejected Manchester United’s bid of €98 million for Jadon Sancho, and are holding out for €120 million.

According to BILD, Manchester United are now preparing a new bid with Borussia Dortmund having set an August 10 deadline for Sancho’s future to be sorted. Meanwhile, Kicker report in their Monday issue that the Black and Yellows are under no economic pressure to sell Sancho this summer, despite suffering from financial losses of 45 million euros as a direct impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Manchester United are seemingly the only team left in the race for his signature at the moment, and they earned qualification to next season’s UEFA Champions League by securing a third place finish in the Premier League. However, Kicker add that it remains to be seen whether United would be willing to offer the 120 million euros Borussia Dortmund are demanding in order to part with Sancho.

The 20 year old still has two years left on his contract, and Michael Zorc expects him to be back in training on Thursday.

The Borussia Dortmund players are set to report back for pre-season training on July 30. The BVB bosses are said to want to have Sancho’s future sorted by August 10, when the team leaves for the pre-season training camp to Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.
