Jadon Sancho will stay at Borussia Dortmund if Manchester United fail to meet their asking price of 120 million euros by Monday, reports in Germany say.
According to BILD, if Manchester United fail to make a bid that matches Borussia Dortmund’s valuation of 120 million euros by Monday, Jadon Sancho will definitely stay with the Black and Yellows for the upcoming season. The BVB bosses will then offer to increase his annual salary from six million euros to ten million euros.
Borussia Dortmund are due to leave for their training camp to Bad Ragaz, Switzerland on Monday. And sporting director Michael Zorc has always maintained that interested clubs must make a bid before then if they want to sign the England international.
Earlier this week, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans Joachim Watzke confirmed that there has been no contact with Manchester United over the sale of Sancho. And Michael Zorc said that they expect Jadon Sancho to stay at the club for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, reports in England have claimed that Manchester United have no desire of meeting Borussia Dortmund’s asking price of 120 million euros. Unless they change their mind soon, Sancho will be staying at the Westfalenstadion for at least another season.
The 20 year old currently has two years remaining on his Borussia Dortmund contract. Borussia Dortmund are under no pressure to sell their star man this summer, and are fully relaxed about the situation.
Sancho is coming off an incredible season which saw him score 20 goals and provide 20 assists in all competitions for Borussia Dortmund.
