Will Gio Reyna and Jude Bellingham get the start?

Gio Reyna and Jude Bellingham were the standout performers for Borussia Dortmund during their pre-season matches. Despite being only 17 years old, both showed maturity, quality and confidence beyond their age. And they undoubtedly deserve a chance this season to prove that they are capable of being regular starters for the Black and Yellows.

With a number of tough challenges coming up in the next few weeks, this game presents the perfect opportunity for Lucien Favre to give Reyna and Bellingham a chance in the starting line-up. Although with the importance of the competition, Favre could decide to go with a more experienced XI.

If Favre decides to give one or both of them a chance to start on Monday, one player who could make way is Julian Brandt. The German international had a poor pre-season with lacklustre showings in almost every game he played in. He is capable of being a game changer for Borussia Dortmund, but something just doesn’t seem to be clicking at the moment.
