Team News

There are no changes on the injury front for Borussia Dortmund, with Emre Can (COVID-19), Dan-Axel Zagadou and Marcel Schmelzer (both knee) all still ruled out. Lucien Favre said during his press conference that Nico Schulz will probably miss the game as well.

Lucien Favre will very likely continue to rotate his squad, and we could see the likes of Thorgan Hazard, Jude Bellingham and Julian Brandt return to the starting XI, with Gio Reyna, Jadon Sancho, Axel Witsel and Erling Haaland being candidates for a rest.

Arminia Bielefeld have a near full strength squad available to them, with Andreas Voglsammer and Cebio Soukou the only players expected to miss the game. Former Borussia Dortmund youth team player Amos Pieper is set to start for the newly promoted side at centre-back.

Expected Lineups

Borussia Dortmund: Bürki – Meunier, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro – Delaney, Dahoud – Sancho, Reus, Hazard – Haaland

Arminia Bielefeld: Ortega – Brunner, Pieper, van der Hoorn, Lucoqui – F. Kunze, Prietl – Hartel – Doan, Cordova – Klos
