Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki

Bürki will take his place between the sticks once again. He has kept two clean sheets in two Champions League appearances so far this season, and he will be hoping for another uneventful evening on Tuesday.

Defender: Thomas Meunier, Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Felix Passlack

With Dan-Axel Zagadou still not fully fit, Mats Hummels and Manuel Akanji will likely continue their partnership in the heart of the Borussia Dortmund defence. Lucien Favre switched to a back three on Saturday, but Emre Can might be needed further forward with Axel Witsel possibly getting a rest and Thomas Delaney an injury doubt.

Thomas Meunier is one player who hasn’t yet been rested, and it is unlikely that he will get a break on Tuesday. A possible alternative could be to play Thorgan Hazard at right wing-back with Emre Can slotting in at right centre-back. Mateu Morey is also an option, but hasn’t been used much this season.

Raphael Guerreiro suffered a muscle injury while on international duty last week. And while the injury did not prove to be a serious one, it may not be a bad idea to rest him against Club Brugge. Felix Passlack has shown that he is more than capable of filling in. While Nico Schulz could also feature.
