Midfielders: Thomas Delaney, Jude Bellingham

Lucien Favre got his midfield selections wrong in the defeat to FC Köln, and it is imperative that one of Jude Bellingham and Mahmoud Dahoud starts against Lazio. The likes of Axel Witsel, Emre Can and Thomas Delaney just don’t provide the creativity that Dahoud and Bellingham offer to the team.

Both Dahoud and Bellingham are in good form and deserve to start, and it will be interesting to see who gets the nod on Wednesday. Bellingham had an excellent game against Club Brugge and is the likelier option to start.

Axel Witsel will likely be rested for this one, with Thomas Delaney coming into the team in the holding midfield role.
