Lukasz Piszczek (5/10)

Piszczek had a fairly decent start to the game, but his lack of match rhythm started to affect him as the game went on. He gave his everything but still looked a bit too slow at times both in the second half and extra time. Still, the fact that he was able to play on for 120+ minutes despite limited game time in recent weeks is quite impressive.

Emre Can (7/10)

Can was one of Borussia Dortmund’s best players, especially in the first half. He scored the early opener with a brilliantly taken finish and wasn’t afraid to get into his duels. He led the defence with great agression and showed his usual fight in the absence of Mats Hummels.

Manuel Akanji (6/10)

Akanji did not make any glaring mistakes and kept things tight on the left side of the back three. He also had a shot cleared off the line just before Emre Can made it 1-0.
