Jadon Sancho (4/10)

Sancho looked a little tired, but he still managed to cause the Freiburg defence more problems than the rest of his teammates (other than Moukoko). More often than not though, his decision making in the final third was disappointing and not much really worked out for him.

Marco Reus (4/10)

Reus was kept quiet by the Freiburg defence for the majority of the time he spent on the pitch. The fact that he was taken off at the hour mark with his team 2-0 behind tells you all you need to know about the Borussia Dortmund captain’s performance.

Gio Reyna (4/10)

Playing on the right wing, Reyna set up a big chance for Haaland with his deflected cross in the first half. But he did not have too many encouraging moments other than that. The United States international is enduring a difficult period at the moment, and his performance on Saturday will not have done his confidence a lot of good.

Erling Haaland (5/10)

Haaland was denied in the first half thanks to an excellent save from Florian Müller. But he was kept quiet for the rest of the 90 minutes by a resilient Freiburg defence. He did manage to set up Moukoko’s goal in the second half though.
