Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha would be interested in Borussia Dortmund move

Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha has admitted that he would be interested in joining Borussia Dortmund, with the club reportedly looking to sign a new number one. Multiple reports have claimed in recent weeks that the Black and Yellows want to sign a new first choice goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
And now Strakosha has seemingly put his name in the hat. The Lazio goalkeeper has been limited to just eight appearances so far this season and is currently out with a knee injury. His future with the Eagles seems uncertain, with Pepe Reina being preferred by head coach Simone Inzaghi before the 25 year old suffered his injury.
In an interview with Sky Germany, Strakosha said that Borussia Dortmund is a huge club and he would be interested in making the move to the Bundesliga.
"“Dortmund is a huge club,” Strakosha said. “They have a young and ambitious team. Of course it’s an interesting club. Their stadium is incredible. I would be lying if I said that I’m not interested. I am open to new challenges. Rome is like a second home for me, but the Bundesliga is really interesting, of course it could be a good next step for me”"
Strakosha has just under 18 months remaining on his current contract with Lazio, so it is likely that the Italian side will look to sell him in the summer should they fail to agree to a new deal.
It remains to be seen if Borussia Dortmund have an interest in signing Strakosha. Ajax’s André Onana, RB Leipzig’s Péter Gulácsi and SL Benfica’s Odysseas Vlachodimos are the three goalkeepers who have been linked with a move to the Black and Yellows so far.
Roman Bürki is currently Borussia Dortmund’s first choice goalkeeper, but the club reportedly have doubts about him due to his lack of consistency. The Swiss shot stopper has two and half years remaining on his current contract with Der BVB.
