Edin Terzic has gone with the same midfield trio that he used in the win over Hertha Berlin last weekend. Jude Bellingham is in excellent form at the moment. The 17 year old was Borussia Dortmund’s best player in the win over Hertha Berlin last weekend. And his performance will once again be key this weekend as the Black and Yellows look to defeat FC Köln.
Mahmoud Dahoud has become a mainstay in the Borussia Dortmund midfield. His impact was slightly limited last weekend as he played in a deeper number six role. He will also be crucial to Borussia Dortmund’s hopes of breaking down the Köln defence.
Julian Brandt keeps his place in the starting XI in the number eight role. Hopefully, his goal against Hertha Berlin will be the confidence booster he needs to start consistently performing at the level we know he is capable of.
