Borussia Dortmund are in excellent form at the moment, having won seven of their last nine games. But they cannot afford to let up anytime soon, with their hopes of finishing in the top four still hanging in the balance.
On Saturday, they take on a Köln side with no wins in their five games. Even though the Billy Goats are struggling, they did manage to defeat Dortmund in the reverse fixture at the Signal Iduna Park. So the Black and Yellows can’t afford to take them lightly.
Borussia Dortmund have several injury issues ahead of the game, with Jadon Sancho, Raphael Guerreiro and Mateu Morey already ruled out. Marco Reus and Dan-Axel Zagadou are both doubts going into the game, and did not train with the team on Friday. But Mats Hummels and Manuel Akanji are fit and will be in the squad against Köln.
