Sergio Gomez – SD Huesca

Sergio Gomez is on loan at La Liga side SD Huesca, where he is struggling to get any meaningful game time. The midfielder has made 22 appearances so far this season, but the majority of them have come from the bench. He has been on the pitch for a total of just 605 minutes so far this season.

Huesca are rooted to the bottom of the standings and find themselves four points adrift of safety at the moment. It is unlikely that Gomez’ situation at Huesca will change in the next couple of months. He has yet to score his first goal of the season, and only has one assist to his name.

Sebastian Kehl said earlier this week that a decision has not yet been made on Gomez’ Borussia Dortmund future. The 20 year old’s contract with the Black and Yellows expires at the end of next season, so a final decision on his future will likely be made in the summer.
