Borussia Dortmund needed a 90th minute equaliser from Erling Haaland to rescue a 2-2 draw against FC Köln before the international break. The draw was a damaging result for the Black and Yellows, who now find themselves four points behind Eintracht Frankfurt going into Saturday’s game.
Before the draw away to Köln, BVB were on a run of five wins in seven games. And Edin Terzic will be hoping that his side can regain their form quickly, starting with a win against the Eagles this weekend. Dortmund will take encouragement from the fact that they have won their last nine matches at home to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt returned to winning ways with a 5-2 thrashing of Union Berlin just before the international break. The win was a timely one for the Eagles, who had dropped points against Werder Bremen, Stuttgart and RB Leipzig prior to that.
Eintracht Frankfurt head into this weekend’s game knowing that anything other than a defeat would be a good result for them. And with Andre Silva in top form, Adi Hütter will be confident that his side can cause a lot of problems to the vulnerable Dortmund defence.
