Borussia Dortmund will likely welcome Marco Reus, Raphael Guerreiro and Mateu Morey back into the squad after the trio returned to training this week. The game comes too early for Jadon Sancho, who is still 7-10 days away from returning. Youssoufa Moukoko will also miss the game after suffering an injury while on international duty with the Germany U-21s.
Long-term absentees Dan-Axel Zagadou, Axel Witsel and Marcel Schmelzer will also be missing for Dortmund.
Eintracht Frankfurt will be without key defender Martin Hinteregger. Former Borussia Dortmund full-back Erik Durm is also a doubt heading into the game. Makoto Hasebe will be missing through suspension, while Almamy Touré is also injured.
