Midfield: Emre Can, Jude Bellingham, Mahmoud Dahoud

If there is one position Borussia Dortmund have been able to find some sliver of continuity this season, it is their midfield. That being said, Dortmund’s engine room will have to be strong to go toe to toe with Man City. With Thomas Delaney missing Tuesday’s training session, Emre Can will starts in the defensive midfield role.

It is no secret that Jude Bellingham has been one of Borussia Dortmund’s best players this season. The Dortmund youngster has been quite unlucky in terms of scoring goals, but he finally managed to find the net on Saturday against Stuttgart. His was one of the goals that made sure BVB got the win. It also happened to be his first goal in the Bundesliga. Expect Borussia Dortmund’s young Englishman to once again be in the thick of the action against Man City.

In addition to Bellingham, Dahoud and Can will offer Borussia Dortmund with a pair of feisty midfielders to support transitional play in the middle of the park. Dahoud will look to continue his fine creative form and try to put passes into the feet of the forwards. Who knows, he might even score another scorcher the way he did against Sevilla. Wouldn’t that be a sight for sore eyes?
